How do I return stuff I bought in an Urban Outfitter’s store?
Anything purchased in an Urban Outfitters‘ store must be returned in a store. You don’t have to return it to the same store where you bought it, but you can’t mail in returns for in-store purchases. Use the store locator to find a store near you that will accept your return.
How quickly do I need to return my purchases to Urban Outfitters?
Normally, you need to return your purchases within 30 days of the purchase date to get a refund. In 2020 only, due to COVID-19, this time frame has been extended to 60 days. Specifically, you can return purchases made March 1 through March 14 until July 31, 2020.
How does Urban Outfitters issue refunds?
As long as you return the item within 30 days (or 60 days if the purchase was made in March, 2020), you will be refunded to the original form of payment.
You can still return the item after the 30-day or 60-day window, but you’ll get store credit emailed to you instead of a refund.
What documents do I need to return an item in store?
Bring your receipt and your ID along with the merchandise to get a refund.
What merchandise can be returned?
Unused or defective merchandise, including furniture, can be returned for a full refund.

How do I return items I bought online from Urban Outfitters?
You can get a full refund for online orders by returning unused merchandise within 30 days of the order date. You can return items purchased online by sending them back with a prepaid shipping label or by taking them into a store.
To print a shipping label, first, find your order number. You can locate the order number by logging into your account or by checking the Order Status page.
Then, print your shipping label. Urban Outfitters pays the shipping within the continental U.S. to return your online order. You’ll provide your email address when requesting your return label, and UO will send you an email with tracking details.
Package up your order, attach the postage-paid return label, and drop it off an an authorized facility.
Urban Outfitters will process your return within three weeks, and then issue your refund within three business days. Returns are issued to the original form of payment.
Urban Outfitters Exchange Policy
You can exchange items purchased in store or online. Follow the same instructions as if you are returning — take the garment to a store if you bought it in store, or send it back by mail if you bought it online.
Can I Return Furniture?
Yes, you can return furniture purchased at UO within 30 days of purchase date, as long as it’s not damaged.
Can I Return Made-to-Order Items?
Made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Can I Return Sale Items?
Usually sale items can be returned to Urban Outfitters unless they are marked otherwise.
