Men’s Wearhouse return policy: What to know

Men’s Wearhouse makes it easy to shop smart and stress-free, even when a purchase doesn’t fit quite right. With free return shipping and a generous 90-day window, you can send back or exchange items without jumping through hoops. Whether your order came from the website or you picked it up in store, the process is simple and flexible.

When you can make a return

You can return or exchange most purchases within 90 days of the original purchase date.

  • Online orders can be returned by mail or in any Men’s Wearhouse store.
  • Exchanges of online orders must be in store.
  • In-store purchases can only be returned or exchanged in store.
  • Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.

Custom orders may have special return terms that are explained when you place the order.

Returning online orders

If you ordered online, start your return through the Men’s Wearhouse website. From there, you can:

  • Mail your return to the Returns Center at no cost, or
  • Bring your item to a nearby Men’s Wearhouse store.

Returns mailed to the warehouse are typically processed within 14 business days after arrival. Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the return is complete.

There are no restocking fees, and shipping is always free on mailed returns.

If your pants were ordered with Creaset® or custom tailoring, you can still return or exchange them within the 90-day period. For small adjustments, the tailoring staff in store can help fine-tune the fit at no charge.

Returning or exchanging in-store purchases

Items bought in person can be returned or exchanged at any Men’s Wearhouse store. Bring the item and your original receipt to complete the process. After 90 days, returns may still be accepted for in-store credit only.

Refunds are made using the same payment method you used to buy the item:

  • Credit card refunds go back to the same card.
  • Debit card refunds are sent to the original card when possible.
  • If a direct refund isn’t possible, a check will be issued from the company’s corporate office.

Refund checks, usually for amounts over 50 dollars or when cash isn’t available, are mailed within about 14 business days.

Store managers decide whether altered or worn items qualify for return.

Exchange policy

You can exchange your purchase at any Men’s Wearhouse store across the country. Online orders can be exchanged in store, or you can mail them back for a refund and place a new order online. Store associates are also available to help you find the right size or style.

International returns

Online returns are available only for items shipped within the United States. For international purchases, visit the Men’s Wearhouse website and review the International Returns and Exchanges section for instructions.
