The site has a database filled with over 60,000 money saving mobile coupons and deals throughout the country. CouponSherpa – Coupon Sherpa is one of the pioneers in mobile coupons and finds great deals for those with iPhones and iPod Touchs. By downloading their free application, Coupon Sherpa users have access to hundreds of in-store coupons, organized by category or store name. It also features promotions from various retailers that are exclusive to Coupon Sherpa users.
CellFire – Founded in 2005, Cellfire boasts of being the first nationwide mobile coupon and discount offer service and can be accessed on over 800 different mobile phones and all US carrier networks. The application is simple- just download the application to your phone, enter your zipcode to find coupons in your area. Unfortunately, most of the coupons are for grocery stores.
Yowza – Yowza is a free mobile-only application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that offers deals from 10,000 merchants nationwide. Unlike other mobile coupon sites that scour the web for additional deals, Yowza’s coupons come straight from the merchants themselves. Just launch the application and it will search for the latest coupons and deals available within 1 to 50 miles in your geographic area.
MobileCoupons.com – MobileCoupons offers savings using two ways, first is through a free iPhone application and the second is through a mobile or WAP site that can easily be accessed using any web-enabled phones across all carriers. Aside from providing access to great deals around your area, the mobilecoupons.com mobile web site also gives you an access to the phone numbers and addresses of local businesses along with maps and driving directions.
Valpak – A mail coupon veteran, the company Valpak has entered the millennium and now offers coupons through a mobile website and an iPhone application. All one has to do is to open the application or their mobile web browser and typing in their ZIP codes, to be able to see the list of coupons available within their area.
Google Mobile Coupons – Google has allowed merchants to add coupons to their business listings and now these coupons can easily be accessed by consumers through their web-enabled phones. To get mobile coupons, just go to google.com on your web-enabled phone and search for a local business. When you land on its Place Page, you’ll see the coupons and discounts that might be available, then simply show the coupon, right from your phone to the establishment to redeem the offer.
