Jennifer Aniston Style Deconstructed

With her American classic style, it’s no wonder that Jennifer Aniston is America’s sweetheart. No one makes the red carpet look as effortless as she does, and while some criticize her for rarely changing up her look, she knows that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That’s why, year after year, Aniston shows up on every best dressed list.

Want to capture her signature simple style? Us, too. Here are the tricks we discovered for imitating Jen’s amazing looks.

Jennifer Aniston Style Deconstructed

1. When in Doubt, Wear Black

Black, nude, black and nude: if you’ve seen a recent photo of Jen, there’s a 90 percent chance she was wearing one of these three. Jen’s looks may be monochromatic, but they’re never dull. The gorgeous actress sticks with these hues because of their elegance, slimming abilities, and because nude looks so fantastic against her tan. Neutrals aren’t boring; they’re chic, not to mention totally unfussy.

2. Slimming Skirts

Jennifer has a figure most 22-year-olds envy, so why not show it off? Jen’s slimming sheath dresses and pencil skirts elongate her body and flaunt her thin frame. They’re also uber classy.

We’re going to go out on a limb and make a bold statement here: Angelina Jolie may be one of the most beautiful women in the world, but Jennifer Aniston has better skin. One of the best ways to show off amazing skin, especially in the summer time, is wear colors neutral to your skin tone.

4. Feminine, Not Girly Garments

Never one to fall for the frilly, dysfunctional garments most fashionistas gravitate to, Jen keeps her look ultra fem anyway by choosing figure-flattering garments in womanly fabrics. Soft and shiny, Jen’s clothes look touchable and sexy while displaying her figure in a way that’s never over-the-top.

5. Elegant Glasses

Whether it’s a pair of smart tortoise shell glasses or a pair of aviator sunnies, stylish glasses are a major part of Jennifer Aniston’s style. And forget the giant sunglasses, Jen prefers less trendy aviators.

The other thing is buy clothes for your body type and that fit to show the best you. If you try it on and you suddenly look like a bratwurst shoved into a Vienna sausage it's a no. If it's snug and tight or so loose you look like your wearing a dead elephant than no. The problem most people never solve is they don't know how to shop for their body type and keep buying the same atrocities over and over.

Anistons wardrobe works because she sticks to classic cuts and simplicity. It's easy to pop the color with shoes or accessories without being obnoxious. Classics never die which is why the lbd stuck so many decades and is still a staple for wardrobes. She keeps it simple and makes it pop with a piece of jewelry or a scarf or footwear.

The problem most people have is they see it's trendy and rush out to get stuff and wear it regardless if they look great or not because it's trendy. It's the wrong way to approach a wardrobe. Trends don't work for everyone and are to be used to add interest not rule your wardrobe.

Hell Yes, Jennifer Aniston has sexier legs, way better than Angelina Jolie's long stick legs! Hands down, just saying.
