Celebrity Style Deconstructed – Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce Knowles has rocketed to one-name fame, known worldwide as simply Beyonce. She has joined the ranks of an exclusive club made up of only two other iconic women: Madonna and Cher. Not bad company. And like the other two fabulous ladies of that trio, Beyonce is a style icon in her own right. She loves bold bright colors, rocks form fitting black skinnies, and changes her hairstyle so often it can be hard to keep up! There are a few key points to Beyonce’s style that are worth noting. Especially if you love this mama-to-be’s fashion M.O. as much as we do!

Beautiful Bright Colors
Lady B has to be one of the most stylish celebs to embrace color so completely. It’s possible we have seen her dazzle in every color of the rainbow and then some. The fact that she loves to keep things bright even if it’s just on her feet (see below) shows us just how confident Beyonce is when it comes to fashion and how she doesn’t take her style choices too seriously. Continuously providing us with vivid pops of color is Beyonce’s way of keeping her looks light and playful.

Snug’n’Skinny Black Pants
Whether they’re dark denim or the legging variety, Beyonce loves her black skinny pants. And so she should! They are versatile, comfy, and chic. A triumverate that’s hard to beat! Whether she’s pairing them with a flowy white blouse, a sequined tank, or a structured, shoulder-padded blazer she always looks pulled together with this wardrobe staple.

When it comes to her hair, Lady B keeps us guessing every time she steps out. Whether she’s a brunette, a blonde, or a redhead, whether it’s half up, half down, twisted, braided or bunned, her hair always looks perfect. Even if that perfect ‘do is a perfectly undone one.

If you like it, then you shoulda put a hat on it…
When she’s not hitting the red carpet, Beyonce likes to keep her style casual, and easy breezy, often sporting an uber on-trend fedora. She keeps this classic look au currant but wearing her hats further back on her head, letting her marvy waves peek out the front and frame her gorgeous face just so.

Keeping It Colorful South of the Ankles
As we have already seen above, Beyonce loves color and she’s not afraid to use it, especially on her feet! Beyonce’s sense of style is so sharp that she knows donning a colorful shoe can have a fabulous impact on an outfit. They really are the perfect topper (or, in this case, bottom-er) to the ever-so-classic LBD – even when it’s a LND (Little Navy Dress)!
