These days, I’m all about stylish eyeglass cases. Let’s just say I recently had enough of my contact lenses (they’d keep falling on the floor as I put them in or worse, fold over while in my eye). So, I decided to enter the world of eyeglasses. However, like most people with a new purchase, I’ve become very cautious of keeping my frames in top… View Post
Being a die hard fan of eco-fashion, I’ve always wondered why the industry was so focused on “green” materials. Don’t get me wrong, I love me a hemp dress or some organic cotton trousers every once and a while.. but what about constructing clothing that will last in rain, sleet or snow? What about a nice sturdy piece of fabric… View Post

Let’s face it, we’re busy ladies. Wristlets to the rescue! Especially in the summer, when we’re carrying lounge chairs to the beach, heading to our BFFs wedding and grocery shopping for picnics, we want to keep life organized – and still look cute doing it.
It’s here, and we’re in the dead middle of it: the season of groomzillas (Yes, they’re real), matching A-line dresses in petunia, and something old, borrowed, and blue. It’s that time affectionately known as “wedding season,” and while we love open bars and our dearests finding their life partners, we don’t love the hefty bill that’s associated with weddings. I think there’s nothing prettier than walking in a room and seeing a vase of flowers. Of course decorative pillows and a nice painting also do the trick, but something about flowers really livens up a room and makes me smile. Whether it’s a single rose on a table or a massive living room bouquet, they bring an extra dose of cheer to rooms. To make them uber… View Post
What: The Huffington Post published an infograph last weekend detailing the many horrifying ways that flip flops are the biggest menace to your feet since, er, Alexander McQueen’s “Armadillo” Heels? Or Crocs 2007 era, before they saw the light?
I love hats and boy, do I need them in summer. You may be thinking this sounds weird since, obviously I’d need a warm hat more in the winter months of Chicago but don’t forget—pigmentation, my friends! Exposing yourself even with 1,789 so-called SPF, your face is still at risk for splotchy pigmentation problems, so hats off to hats! They’re… View Post
The 14th of July marks independence day in France, and was a gory beginning to the French Revolution marked by the storming of the Bastille prison (hence it’s name) and the release of its crazy prisoners. I love all things French so for me, the fourteenth is a day that I always eat at my favorite French restaurant (Hemingway’s Bistro… View Post
