What: This October, the Swedish Fashion chain Lindex is launching a design collection in partnership with the international designer and three-time Council of Fashion Designer of America winner Narciso Rodriguez. The collection called Pink Collection with Narciso Rodriguez is created to raise money to benefit breast cancer research and with a portion of the proceeds going to the Cancer Foundation. The collection consists of 15 garments; a dress, a top, a pair of trousers and two jackets in jersey in viscose/elastane as well as three dresses and a top in lighter jersey crepe in viscose. The collection is completed by a long sleeved T-shirt in viscose/wool/elastane as well as a knitted sweater in a mix of viscose, wool, nylon and cashmere. These will be sold exclusively at all Lindex stores throughout Sweden, Norway and Finland and selected stores in other markets.
What They Say:
“The Pink Collection that I designed in collaboration with Lindex is very reflective of my style, and also very reflective of modern women. It is very easy, sensual and smart. It is designed to be desired, to make you look good and also to make you feel good. To be able to create something for women and to help them as well, that is why I loved working with this collection. The Pink Collection in collaboration with Lindex reflects my real love for women”, says Narciso Rodriguez.
What We Say: While we’re sad (tear rolls down our cheek) that the line won’t be available in the US, we’re sure you’ll be able to scoop up some pieces on eBay. Or, you could work your facebook connections to see if you can get a friend to pick up a few pieces (most pieces around $50-$150 USD).
