Dell’acqua, Alessandro
Pronunciation: Al-less-san-droh Del-ah-kwa
Inspired by the sensuality of Italian screen sirens like Sophia Loren, Alessandro Dell’Acqua designs collections that pay tribute to the powerful yet feminine touch of women. Emphasizing the female silhouette through the play of fabrics, Dell’Acqua’s modern eccentric style shows his mastery of knits and tailoring, an art of which he gained from his experience working with top Italian fashion brands such as Genny, where he work alongside Gianni Versace. Using mostly nude and black colors for his men and women’s collections, Dell’Acqua glamorizes his collection with art and the principles of freedom, modern and sophistication.
