Banana Republic recently launched a new concept called “BR Monogram”. The collection features apparel and accessories in “better” fabrics and tailoring for women (and men) at prices 30-40% higher than regular Banana Republic merchandise. The line follows in the footsteps of competitors, J Crew and Ann Taylor, both of whom have higher-priced collections with the word, uhhhh, “Collections” in the title.
Currently the collection is available online at Banana Republic and at it’s 3,000 sq ft concept store on Bleecker and 6th Ave in Manhattan.
