3 Global Trends to Try Now

I love people-watching like it’s my job and when I travel, all the better. From the second I step into an international airport, my eyes are busy scanning everyone and taking note of their style. Stepping out with a fresh stamp on my passport, I continue to trek to understand the local lay of the fashion land and recently I found the following three global trends in Norway, Poland, and France.

1. Norway. Right now it’s all about 80’s revived black and white patterned leggings. Pair them with a flowing sweater, blazer or overcoat and a pair of boots and you’re making a flashy statement, and comfortably at that. Try this affordable Charlotte Russe pair for just $14.99.

2. Poland. I adore shopping in the artist’s mecca that is Krakow, and right now, my favorite Polish shoe line Rylko is featuring stripes on heels and I love it!

3. France. Tartan jackets are the look du jour in Paris. In other words, that classic Scottish plaid in the form of blazers, heels or even bags. While we all wish we could afford the Montcler version at the oh-so hip shop Colette on rue St. Honoré, we’re best opting for the Urban Outfitters version just under a hundred.
