Spanx Swimwear

Going to the beach or the pool is possibly one of the more stressful occasions in a lady’s summer. We all worry about those lumps and bumps that used to hide under our clothes (our oh-so-safe clothes!) that will now be out for the world to see. Well, as a seemingly natural extension of Spanx body tightening underwear, there is now…drum roll, please…Spanx swimwear. In one pieces, separates and bikinis, Spanx now, for no small fee, is offering you basically, external versions of what we’ve kept hidden.

Should You Wear Spanx During the Summer???

July 5, 2010 by TBFTBF on July 5, 2010

Spanx

The Deal: Spanx FREE Shipping in July with Code JULY2010

The Lowdown: Recently on the Kathryn Finney Facebook Fan page, we’ve had deep discussions in regards to whether or not one should “Spanx” it up during the warm summer months. Personally, I’m not a big fan of wearing the shapewear during the summer- it’s hot and the last thing I want to do is be “overly packaged”. Frankly, when it’s 100 degrees outside, cellulite be damned.

However, I do understand that you do need some “packaging” underneath summer’s flimsy cotton jersey dresses and Spanx is the best (but expensive) way to “package you’re goods”. Use the above coupon for free US shipping (and oh for international peeps, the Spanx does ship internationally).

Spanx Swimsuits: Tummy Controlling Swimwear That’ll Cost You

May 17, 2010 by TBFTBF on May 17, 2010

Spanx Swimsuits

The Deal: FREE shipping on ALL Spanx purchases, including swimwear, with code AFFILIATE052010. Offer valid through 5/31.
The Lowdown:99% of women should not spend more than $50 on a swimsuit, since most of us only wear them on the occasional vacation or the day or two we actually get to relax by the pool. But then there’s the 1% of us who live in warm tropical places and/or who happen to “summer” during the winter. This very special group of people, may want to spend a little more dough on their swimsuits, since the suits are a crucial part of their wardrobe. Okay, fine. One of our favorite higher end swimwear lines is the relatively new line by the folks behind Spanx. This line, which is priced well-above the $150 mark, has all the tummy controling, butt smoothing, boob lifting technology you’ve come to love from Spanx. A few of our favorites are listed below, all with free shipping.

Assets by Sarah Blakely Tights: Product Review

Assets by Sarah Blakely Tights: Product Review

What: Angela smooths things over with Assets Tights

The Lowdown: Okay, every celeb and fashionista out there sings the endless praises of Spanx, but at prices ranging from $28-$40 for tights, not all of us have the budget to justify owning a pair. Enter Assets, a budget version of the sin-forgiving body-shapers, from our favorite they-get-that-I-want-to-be-stylish-without-spending-my-kids’-college-fund retailers, Target, and Spanx’s very own Sarah Blakely. So lots of higher-end designers do budget lines for budget retailers these days, but does Assets hold up to the claims of flattening tummy, hips and thighs, lifting the rear, and eliminating panty lines?
