It’s probably safe to put away that winter coat right about now, but that doesn’t mean coat season is over. Overview: For Spring 2009, Target’s banking again on Mossimo Giannulli’s trademark “fresh” and “no-fuss” style that we’ve all come to expect from the Mossimo line. Meant to be mixed and matched, easily layered and worn with a casual but feminine air, the 2009 beachwear inspired line has great potential at first glance. Tops are reminiscent of a 60’s inspired glamor (think Mad Men, bold sailor stripes, cardigans, flutter sleeves and fun prints). Mossimo’s accessories are the most fashion forward in the line; embracing many of the most popular trends of the last year-gladiator sandals, wide waist belts, bright jewel tones and big beads.
