On today’s Shoptalk, I chat with the fabulous Eileen Fulton whose character Lisa Miller on CBS’s “As The World Turns” was television’s first “Bad Girl”. This year, she’s celebrating her 50th year on the show and you don’t get to spend a half a century on television without knowing a thing or two about beauty and personal style. Eileen gives us the scoop on her favorite place to shop for beauty products (the local Rite-Aid) and whether her character is going to throw her hat back into the marriage ring.

P.S. Eileen the necklace you are wearing in this photo is KILLER!!!
I love everything about Jenni Pulos- from the way she keeps her boss Jeff Lewis in check on Bravo’s hit show “Flipping Out”, to the fact that she won Amateur Night at Apollo as a part of, get this, a rap group. Listen to one of funnest (yeah I know it’s not a word, but the interview was so much fun that we can break grammar rules) interviews I’ve ever conducted. Jenni gives us the scoop on her favorite hair care product (sold on QVC, natch) and even busts a rap for us.

Today on Shoptalk, Kathryn chats with supermodel Claudia Jordan, best known as model #1 on “Deal or No Deal” and star of this past season’s “The Celebrity Apprentice”, host of “The Claudia Jordan Show” and Co-Host (with Jamie Foxx) of “The Foxxhole”- both on Sirius Radio. Listen In
Today I chat with international table tennis superstar Biba Goalic. Biba is perhaps the most recognized star of the sport, winning “Sexiest Athlete” awards from ESPN, FHM and Spike TV. Biba serves up some interesting facts about table tennis (for example i didn’t know you could get a college scholarship to play the sport) and explains why it’s the “hardest” sport to play.
Today I chat with Debby Ryan, who stars as Bailey Pickett, a smart, lovable southern girl who leaves her small town home for the first time to explore the world while attending Seven Seas High on the SS Tipton in the Disney Channel comedy series “The Suite Life on Deck.”
Three Things You’ll Learn from Our Interview with Debby
- The kid stars on the Disney channel really are that sweet in person. Debby was so cool, that I now DVR the “Suite Life” and I haven’t watch the Disney channel in like 5 years (okay that’s a little lie, I did DVR “High School Musical”). Also she helped me score big time cool points with my pre-teen niece.
- Teens like Wal-Mart. Target is good, but when you’re on a strict allowance, Wal-Mart
is the way to go. The kids also like crafts, so I think Debby and Mark (from April 17th’s Show), should get together.
- California Governor Arnold Schaweggzeger probably couldn’t handle a bedazzler- but wouldn’t you love to just hear him say the word “bedazzler”.

Today I chat with my dear friend Pam Pekerman, HSN’s bag expert and founder of BagTrends.com.
Three Things You’ll Learn From Our Interview with Pam
- Throwing your bags in the corner of your closet isn’t a good way to protect them. Purchase bag covers or make your own with old white pillow cases.
- Like any good pet owner, you must walk your bags, cause if you don’t they will mess all over your closet. Okay, they won’t but what’s the sense of having things in your closet if you never use them. It’s about quality and value, not quantity.
- If you still hanging on to your fake Louis Vuitton cause it makes you feel “proud” when you’re standing in the unemployment line, please let it go. I mean, really.

Today I chat with celebrity designer Mark Montano of TLC’s “While You Were Out” and STYLE Network’s “My Celebrity Home” about how to make some easy fashion and décor pieces at a fraction of what you’d pay in a store. s.
Three Things You’ll Learn From our Interview with Mark
- Mark’s Book,The Big ### Book of Crafts, really is a big ### book of crafts. Like hundreds of them. Read it and you’ll be overcome with the urge to jump in your car and head to your nearest Michael’s (make sure to bring a coupon).
- It’s amazing what you can do with a bottle of glitter, some tree leaves, and elmer’s glue. Listen to the interview to learn more.
- Having a craft night with friends and family is an excellent (and cheap… really cheap) way to get together. Rather than take your kids to a movie- which can run you up to $40 (when all they really want is to watch Wall-E for the 15th time), stay at home and make something together. Then watch Wall-E cause it really is a good movie.
