We are notorious fans of Lela Rose’s fashion shows, her Payless looks and we felt equally as in love with her after attending her Fall 2011 show. Lela dresses women who have lives but want to be the most effortlessly fashionable lady in the room, but of course, her designs come at a price that we’re not always willing to pay. Solution? What: Lela Rose Fall 2010 show reigns supreme with an eclectic collection of romantic sophisticated pieces.
What They Say: The Fall 2010 collection centers around the graphite drawings of nighttime skies. Combining dimensionality and straight color, the Fall 2010 collection uses natures surface textures to recall the romantic conceit of it’s brilliance and constant evolution. Draped and molded shapes recalling wind blown eroded landscapes and fragmented lace and liquid silk in colors such as sulfur mars red, mercury and cobalt bring an otherworldly essence to the collection.
