Can’t Afford Designer Fashion? Get Them on Your Cell
Microsoft Windows just released five cellphone wallpaper themes, available for free at Windows Marketplace, from some of fashions top designers. Themes are available from Diane von Furstenberg, Vera Wang, Isaac Mizrahi, Rock & Republic, and Ron Arad (we like DVF the best).
The designer themes are available to all Windows phone users with Windows Mobile 6.5 devices which will be available on October 6, and can be downloaded for free from Windows Marketplace for Mobile beginning the same date.
Vivienne Tam Debuts New HP Digital Clutch
What: Über-chic womenswear designer Vivienne Tam debuted her new “digital clutch” on the Bryant Park runway. Designed in partnership with HP, Tam’s new digital clutch laptop features a butterfly design on a champagne-colored backdrop inspired by the classic Chinese love story “Butterfly Lovers.” It’s expected to hit shelves in spring 2010.
What Vivienne Says:
“The new digital clutch design embodies the inspiration for my entire spring collection,” says Tam. “When women around the globe carry HP’s digital clutch and wear my clothes, I want them to feel independent and free, like butterflies.”
What We Say: We love fashionable technology, and Vivienne’s new designs look fab! In fact, we can already imagine ourselves sitting in a café, typing on the stylish laptop right now. Luckily, we’ve still got time to start saving our money before the computer actually debuts next spring.
