Black Friday, Part II: Budget Shopping for Yourself

Black Friday, Part II: Budget Shopping for Yourself

Even if you already have all your Christmas shopping done, Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) is a great day to stock up on home items. I stumbled upon this forum on DealUnion.com, a site that highlights the best deals on the web. In the forum, people have posted early sneak peaks at Black Friday ads: Target, Linens ‘n Things, Sears and more. I am especially, excited about the Linens ‘n Things ad preview. $39.99 for a Cuisinart Grind and Brew, which normally retails for around $150. Can this be true?! I hope so.

Remember: That while there may be some great deals, Black Friday deals aren’t always the best. Usually, the sales are better after Christmas or even in February, when stores clear out their winter merchandise. So, if your wallet is pinched from holiday gift-giving—give it a break. You’ve lived without the Ronco Food Dehydrator ($69.95) this long you can survive without it another couple months, even if it is on sale at Kohl’s for $29.99 (see the Kohl’s ad in the forum)

Here are some tips for survival, I learned while being punched by a grandma in line at Best Buy:
