How To Shop Topshop

Its hard not to have a crush on Topshop. With its stylish and trendy collections, exotic, British appeal, and Kate Moss’s line (which is leaving us..tears), Topshop is a goldmine for trendy and stylish pieces. We wouldn’t even judge you if you went to Topshop every Thursday for six months while you lived in London… (we’ve been there, welcome to Topshopaholics Anonymous).

Topshop Shopping: Getting Started

Unfortunately, as much as we love the store, it’s also not always as budget friendly as it seems. If you enter Topshop’s site expecting to find H&M prices, beware that your favorite pieces might actually run you a pretty penny. Though Topshop is much cheaper than the designer collections the clothes are modeled after, its also not the place to go to the cheapest of trendy pieces. So, with plenty of personal experience under our belt, we have a few tips that will help you find the best deals on the site:

How to Shop TopShop

Go Low To High
Normally, we’d send you to the sale section first but Topshop’s is lacking and only has about forty odd items total. Instead, the way to shop the site is to hit up your desired category and shop low to high. You will find tons of pieces marked down – sometimes as much as fifty percent. And keep in mind that inventory runs in and out of stores like Topshop all the time so things go on sale quickly.  You’ll rarely see us buying a Topshop piece at full price unless we absolutely, I-need-to-be-buried-in-this love it.

Take Advantage of Your Student ID

Save this

Enter your email below and I'll email this post to you!

Students that use their student advantage card when checking out online get 10% off all year. You can also just flash your student ID at the NYC store to receive a student discount.

Social Media It Up

If you’re a true Topshop lover then you should definitely follow them on Twitter and “like” them on Facebook. This way you’ll get all the updates and be aware of their current deals, but you’ll avoid those pesky emails filling your inbox.

Ditch Shipping Costs

Hefty shipping costs just don’t look good on anyone. If you spend over $100 you’ll receive free shipping, instead of the standard $10 flat shipping rate.
