Dear Budget Fashionista,

Is there a product or solution to keep my white blouses white? I always end up with underarm and collar stains.

Answer: Try washing your shirts in warm water with either a solution like OxyClean or Mrs. Stewart’s Bluing solution, which does turn your shirts “blue”, but is used to whiten shirts (there are many other bluing solutions that can be found in the aisles of your local grocery stores). In terms of your underarms, you might want to use underarm pads/armpit shields, which are pads you put on the underarm portion of your shirt to absorb excess sweat. You can find them at LaurenSilva.com.
