Getting the Shoe Boot For Cheap: Fall Fashion Preview 2006

So you want to try the new shoe boot trend-but don’t want to spend a crazy amount of cash for a one season trend? Look no further than your local Target. Try the Isaac Mizrahi version, $36.99 at Target.com, in sizes 5/12 to 12. Yes, the Issac Mizrahi line of shoes at Target now go up to a size 12. I like to think that I had something to do with the increase in size. I know I probably didn’t—but let me have this one moment of shopping related glory.

I’m glad to see it’s easier to find sizes for big feet--I’m a size 10 and even that can be hard to find sometimes.

However, as adorable and well-priced as many of the Target shoe styles are, I’ve found when trying them on that they have very little padding or arch support and are instantly painful so I’ve never bought any, and have had to settle for trolling at DSW. Maybe if I tried putting some Dr. Scholl’s inserts in them…

You’re right IM shoes tend to not be the most comfortable shoes, so I do put extra padding (either Dr. Scholls or foot petals) in the shoe.

But you know, I’m finding that most shoes these day are very comfortable. Which is way I’m in love with Aerosoles.
