DSW Launches Online Store

DSW, the online shoe mecca, recently launched an online version of their store. While the site is not the easiest to navigate (the search by size link is broken on the category section of the site) and it's doubtful that it will be able to compete with big guns like Zappos and Endless.com, it does offer shoppers a nice selection of mid-level design shoes for less than $100.

But who we're kidding, DSW is all about the sales racks and unfortunately the clearance section on the site leaves much to be desired.

Shoes shown above: Steve Madden Luxe Billy Reptile sandals, Regularly $99.00, DSW online: $69.95

I went to DSW today to look for casual flats to wear with blue jeans. All the flats I tried on lacked arch support or were to wide for my narrow feet or did not stay on my heel while walking. I wasted an hour trying on shoes. I would not recommend blindly ordering their shoes through the web!
