What: Late last month, word began spreading that the design team Badgley Mischka was planning to design a line especially for the Home Shopping Network. Now, just a few weeks later, details about the new collection are starting to emerge. In fact, a new survey by the National Association of Resale & Thrift Shops (NARTS ) found that 64.1% of second-hand stores across the country have seen increased sales since the recession began, while 11.5% said business was “about the same.”

What: Legendary downtown artist Marilyn Minter has teamed up with Intermix to promote breast cancer awareness. The fashion-forward retailer has created a limited edition tote bag featuring an image from Minter’s 2009 film, Green Pink Caviar, which will be on sale in stores and online through the month of October.
