The first tip any budding fashionista must know is how to shop during the media frenzied, retail orgy time called the “Holiday Season.” Most of us would agree that the holidays have become as commercialized as good old Saint Nick himself (Christmas? Target has recently expanded their furnishing section and this is just one of several pieces—at $169.99 it is almost as cheap as Goodwill or Salvation (Is it just me or does it seem like thrifts store furniture is getting to be expensive?). Daffy’s Bargain Outlet
If you live in the New York area, you know Daffy’s. For those of you who don’t live in the area, it is cross between a TJ Maxx and Off Fifth, the Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet. Usually my experiences at Daffy’s has been hit or miss. Sometimes the deals are great—like the time I found a pair of Coach loafers for my husband for $39.99—but most of the time I find nothing. . . at least until this week. Daffy’s is having a major sale on its summer/early fall merchandise, with an additional 50% off already discounted merchandise.
