Our peeps at the National Honey Board (yeah.. the honey peeps have a lobby group) sent us a over some awesome recipes for at home beauty treatments using honey. The treatment below is excellent for brightening up dull hair.

Persimmon & Rosemary Invigorating Honey Hair Conditioner
Ingredients:
1 ripe persimmon
1 sprig of rosemary
1/4 cup of almond or olive oil
1/2 cup honey
4 drops of peppermint oil (fresh mint leaves may be substituted)

We all know that olive oil is wonderful and healthy for us to cook with, but what about its other uses? Melissa give TBF readers tips on how to use that $6.99 bottle of olive oil for than just cooking.

1. A mixture of 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup vinegar, & 1/4 cup water used as a night cream will make your skin glow. The olive oil softens and moisturizes and the vinegar lightens discolorations, kills bacteria and loosens dead skin cells. Splash water on your face before applying.
