The Budget Fashionista

I saw Charlotte Sometimes on VH1 “You Outta Knowâ€? the other day.  I usually like these artists but think they’re kinda cheesey.  Apparently she’s supposed to be different, I guess she has more of an edge.  Has anyone checked out more/any of her stuff? I’m debating buying some songs on iTunes, but I don’t want to waste money.

-I want to make sure that whole emotional connection is in each and every word and in each and every note of my songs, because if that’s not there, then what’s the point in music?- Charlotte Sometimes UMGD

I don’t know about the music side (this is the first I’d heard of her, but did a quick search and found the official site) but her style is great—looks very “styled” but I can’t argue with the super cute colorful plaid dress and great shoes she’s wearing here: http://www.charlottesometimesmusic.com/photos/

hey liz!  Charlotte Sometimes is pretty cool.  i saw her on VH1 too and like that 1 song so far.  i don’t know anyone who has her stuff yet but a few friends of mine dig that same song as well.  let me know how the rest of her stuff is if you end up getting it.  also, don’t know if it’s your cup of tea but being that this is a “Fashion & Music” post i thought i’d share what i’m diggin as of late in both.  check out Danity Kane if you haven’t yet… they’re P.Diddy’s girl group and they’re super-talented!  check out their song ‘Damaged’ with Missy Elliott, it’s great.  also, they’re stylist is new fashionista chick Kira Plastinina .. check em out all together here!
