First time poster!
I know it's not cosmetics, but I assume this falls under the heading of beauty product. I've always had pretty straight hair, so I never used a good flat iron back when they were trendy. But premature graying is making my hair wirey and unmanageable, even when colored. So when my stylist used a HAI flat iron to straighten my hair, I almost cried. It had been a long time since my hair had looked that shiny, that… normal.
I immediately went on a search for the flat iron and found that they retailed for as much as $130. Then I came across Folica.com and found it for $79.95, shipping included. At the time, they even had a promotion that included a free travel pouch, which I store my hot iron in when I'm done. My husband thought I was wasting money, but well over a year later we both agree it was one of the best purchases I've made. And my stylist was shocked that I found it for that cheap.
I hope this doesn't count as spam, because I promise I don't work for this company in any way. It's just that I look back on so many of my beauty purchases with regret and this was just one of those rare purchases where I more than got my money's worth.
