Target in Australia recently launced a Zac Posen line. Amongst his collection is an Ottoman dress (http://www.flickr.com/photos/12329941@N02/2384594536/), a replica of the white gown that Katherine Heigl wore to the Emmy awards (http://www.flickr.com/photos/12329941@N02/2384594536/). You can see the collection here: http://www.designersfortarget.com.au/menu.htm
More than a month after the initial excitement about this range, Target has reduced everything by about least half price. Yesterday, I was extremely lucky to get this Pompeii print dress (http://www.flickr.com/photos/12329941@N02/2384594538/) for only AU$80! The original price was $179, but after the huge discount, as well as Target’s 15% discount, it became $85. The only thing was, the stitching on the bottom part of the zipper was coming loose, so I got $5, making the dress come up to only $80. The cutting and the print are gorgeous, while the dress is made of cotton and elastane. I found the sizing to be smaller than usual. I usually wear an Australian 10 or 12 (to fit the bust), but the dress fit best in size 14.
All in all, I was very very very happy with the deal. :D Now, I have my eye on this lovely belt, though I couldn’t find my size. I might try out another Target outlet.
If anyone is interested in the Zac Posen for Target range, there are some pieces on ebay.com.au. However, most of these are at the original prices, not the newly discounted prices.
