Hi! I just signed up & am excited to learn more about fashion on a budget! I’ve been pretty sick for the past 15 years & have had to put an awful lot on the back burner, including fashion! Now that my health is improving (slowly), I’m ready for a wardrobe makeover. Where do I begin? What’s the best way to start buildng a wardrobe from scratch? Looking forward to llooking better!

Hi chinnymama—we’re glad you joined us! Fortunately, we have some very budget fashion savvy readers, so I think you’ll get lots of good advice here. My tip? Start here with Kathryn’s advice (it’s for someone who lost a wardrobe to fire, but the same rules apply): http://www.thebudgetfashionista.com/archive/fashion_advice_rebuilding_your_closet/. And post specific question here as often as you like!
