Maybe the controversy is just in talking about it, but Beyonce and Tina Knowles new House of Dereon line for girls has generated some not-so-complimentary buzz for the very grown up looking little girls in the ads (read more here: http://shoppingblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2008/05/house-of-dereon-releases-contr.html )

I have to agree with the naysayers—the girls are a little beyond dress-up moving into inappropriate territory (it’s the overdone makeup and questionable poses that put it over the top). Plus I’m not crazy about the clothes either.

Any thoughts?
