I am a big fan of the <a href="http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_1/602-0687374-3965452?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B0002AUWM4">Sonia Kashuk line at Target</a>. Good quality for the price.

Any others?

Avon brushes are really good ranging from 2.99-7.99. They look and feel much more expensive than they are.
I highly reccomend!

I have found a great site to get makeup brushes for very cheap, http://www.eyeslipsface.com/depts.asp?dept_id=1079 At this site, you can find single brushes for $1
or you can buy in bulk and spend up to $12 for 12 brushes. It is a great site. You can find concealer brushes, eye liner brushes, blending brushes, even eyeshadow brushes.
It is a great site, and you can get them for a great price, I would check them out if I were you.

Sonia fan, I am! I bought a foundation brush and concealer brush for like 1/7 of the cost of a chanel, and they work fabulous!

I liked sephoras collection brush set, that was 50 cdn for like a big soft powder brush, soft blush brush, eyeshadow brush, and lip brush and this liner one.

In canada, we have shoppers drug mart, that has this house brand called quo, which is the inexpensive answer to MAC. I got a big powder brush that is soft and full and was like 20 bucks! I wish I knew I would go to target before buying that (now) expensive looking brush.

Good choices for brushes off the top of my head:

Sonia Kashuk: This line is exclusive to Target. Good brushes (check out the sets!),
        readily available, and at a good price. They also go on sale
        every couple of months or so.

Studio Basics: I've seen this line at Wal-Mart. Basic brushes that work well.

ELF [Eyes Lips Face, mentioned above]: One dollar apiece?! I'll take a baker's dozen, thanks.
                    I use their foundation brush for spot-concealing w/mineral
                    makeup every day. Their eyelash curler and synthetic
                    flatlining brush are good, too. Drugstore.com sells these
                    too, and they're also a great way to "fill out" an order
                    in order to reach a free-shipping minimum.

Art brushes: If you have a Michaels/Blick near you (and a coupon), definitely
      check out their paintbrushes. Upon closer inspection, you'll find that
      the heads of many brushes are the same as those of "traditional"
      makeup brushes. Something to consider for a stay-at-home set.
