Getting ready for a baby involves a whole lot of financial juggling—making putting together a maternity wardrobe even tougher than it should be. So where does a budget fashionista go when she’s expecting? TBF readers gave us a few sources recently: http://www.thebudgetfashionista.com/archive/best-maternity-wear-on-a-budget-reader-advice/, but we’re wondering if anyone else has a retailer or two to add?

I’ve been there twice. I loved Mimi Maternity and Motherhood Maternity, but I looked for good stuff in any maternity department.

My suggestions for pregnant budget fashionistas are:
1) Do not even start shopping for maternity clothes until your third month, and don’t start wearing them until you absolutely have to because…
2) ...you must not overbuy maternity clothes. Just concentrate on finding maternity versions of the base pieces that you wear before pregnancy. You won’t wear them forever, so you don’t need much.
3) Do use accessories (cheap ones) to change up your maternity looks.
4) Stay healthy and enjoy this time.

Being a huge eBay fan, I’ve noticed mixed “lots” of maternity clothing at various times throughout the year.  Starting bids are generally pretty low and the selection seems to vary from seller but definitely worth a look!  Good luck!
