Hey all—I was thinking about the fact that the weather is finally starting to warm up (for most of us, that is), a fact that brings me great joy but also throws beauty challenges my way. You know, like the havoc humidity wreaks on hair and makeup . . .

Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing how my mineral makeups hold up in the warmer weather—I’m thinking they’ll do better than my old liquid ever did. Anyone have some great warm-weather beauty tips to share with the rest of us?

I hope that you are all wearing sunscreen every day, so keep that up.

Now that warm weather is on the way, use the warmer temperatures to make your exercise easier. When the muscles are warm, they are more relaxed and they exercise better, no matter what kind of exercise you’re going. Exercising is good for everything, but it’s also great for the skin by giving you a natural glow. And if you really break a sweat (warmer temperatures help with that too), that perspiration will clean out the toxins and the dirt, which will make your skin look even better.

About makeup… go easy. You never need a faceful of gunk, but in the summer, you need to wear even less (except for special occasions). Remember that summer skin has more of a glow to it, so you’ll look better in less makeup.
