Hot oil makes me think of those old Alberto VO5 commercials (and hence seems very old school), but a while back I was looking for something to sooth my colored locks, and grabbed a box of Tresemme Moisture Repair Hot Oil Treatment, as it was on sale and I like Tresemme products in general.

I actually loved it—it’s self-warming (the old kind called for you to set the tube in hot water to heat it up—not the case here), and is used before shampooing. I’m using it once a week, and it gives my hair the deep moisture boost it seems to require so as to not disintigrate entirely.

Anyone else using hot oil products? How do you feel about them?

Sayad, I think I picked it up at WalMart . . . should be available at any discount department store, drugstore, or online at places like drugstore.com. Hope that helps!
