BOTKIER BAGS IT: Add Botkier to the laundry list of top accessories brands doing lines for Target. Sources said Monica Botkier is designing a line of bags for the mass merchant. Rafe, Devi Kroell, Loeffler Randall, Hollywould and Gryson most recently did lines for the retailer. Botkier, a fashion photographer who launched her brand five years ago â€â€? because she couldn’t find a handbag that quite suited her â€â€? sells her accessories at stores such as Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue and Harvey Nichols. This spring, the brand launched shoes, belts and small leather goods. Last month, the firm’s Web site botkier.com, went live for e-commerce. Neither Botkier nor Target could be reached for comment.
