I’m going to the St. Louis area in April and would like to know some good places to shop around there.  Budget, outlet, interesting, or anything anyone really likes in that area.  I live in Nebraska, so there will be a lot of stores that we don’t have here!  I’d like to focus on bargains as well as stores we don’t have here...so I’m not getting the same old thing everyone else has!

Hi Classique—I’ve moved to the St. Louis area in just the last year, and while I’m still learning where the great shopping is (I have a hard time dragging myself very far away from Target most days . . . ), here are some suggestions:

The Galleria is one of the nicer malls, with stores like Anthropologie, MAC, Urban Outfitters, Sephora, Delia’s, H & M. website: http://www.saintlouisgalleria.com/html/index13.asp

The Boulevard: Ann Taylor LOFT and good food . . . http://www.theboulevard.com/

Mid Rivers Mall: http://www.shopmidriversmall.com/shop/mrivers.nsf/index

Those are my favorite picks—there are also some great Goodwill/Thrift shops that, if you like that kind of shopping, are worth visiting . . .

I don’t shop downtown STL much, however—anyone else have some good downtown picks? I’d love to know too!
