I really agreed with a lot of you guys on how to translate runway to real way. Basically, I think two things about the subject: Firstly, as I look at runway shows I find elements of runway pieces are being incorporated into the real way clothing like in half a season later. For example, today I was shopping at TJMaxx and looking at summer dresses. I pulled a number off the rack and noticed that it looked somewhat similar to a red Oscar de la Renta dress that was show cased just this last spring. So, that ties into what I am going to say next. Watch runway shows! I find them very informational, even if the clothing being shown is very eccentric and could never work in real way. That way, when you go shopping, all the work of working in runway trends into your wardrobe is pretty much done for you by the store designers. Thus, don’t over think it. Runway shows are the reasons why the clothes we buy are the way they look.
