I have been on a hunt for hand cream that isn’t ridiculously expensive.  In the winter my hands are perpetually dry and a regular lotion doesn’t do the trick.  Well, I have just discovered my new favorite drugstore item.  Neutrogena makes an intensive hand cream that smells like buttercream.  It’s about $4.50 for a tube that fits in your handbag.  It is soothing and not to greasy, I’m in love.

I absolutely love Dove moisturizing face lotion. It is extremely light, not at all greasy, has a fresh scent that’s barely there, and has some SPF. It works wonderfully as a daily moisturizer and has proven to do it’s job in both freezing cold and hot and humid weather. I’ve seen it at pretty much every drugstore chain, so it’s easy to get if you run out; I’ve been using it since high school (6 years now).  It usually costs about $4-$6/bottle. Cheap!

I have an all time new favorite from the grocery store.  Salon Graphix Dry Shampoo in Blonde.  I think it’s like $7.  I used to buy Bumble and Bumble hair powder for over $30/bottle.  It is a great product and I really love it, but I just couldn’t keep spending that much on a hair product.  So, I started searching for a replacement that was a bit more economical.  I tried this dry shampoo and it is a great replacement.  I don’t love it as much as the B&B, but for that cost savings, it definitely works.
