The Runway to Service auction is part of a new partnership between Mercedes Benz Fashion Week designers and the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance. Launched on 9/11, it features just-off-the-runway spring collection items (as well as a few fall collection pieces) donated from more than 20 top designers including Diane Von Furstenberg, Yigal Azrouel, Max Azria and Vivienne Tam. Items include everything from Australia Luxe Collective boots and a handbag from Phillip Lim to custom gowns from Carmen Marc Valvo, Chado Ralph Rucci and Donna Karan, and range in value from $275 to $10,000. Proceeds from the auction will go to support 9/11 family members and the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance (www.911dayofservice.org), as well as a handful of fashion charities, including Fashion For All (www.fashionforall.org).
