Has anyone here had LASIK eye surgery? Did you do it to save money after buying contact lenses box after box, or for cosmetic reasons? Or for another reason?

I’m curious if people ever get LASIK to save in the long run. . .

I don’t think I’m a candidate for it (I read that it doesn’t work for astigmatism), but my mother-in-law did. I think she did it more for convenience than anything else.

I don’t think anyone goes for surgery to save money like that. Its not something that you can forget like a bad dream if anything goes wrong. You can’t go past it after its done. So just be careful, consult a good eye doctor and then take a step.
