The Budget Fashionista

What does everyone think of Jimmy Choo doing a line for H&M;? Does it cheapen the line at all? Are you willing to purchase the new line?

I will buy it, absolutely. I think that high-end designers who recognize our need to budget shop, and develop affordable lines, are the ones who will ultimately stay afloat. Just because the line is “cheaper” doesn’t mean it’s less beautiful!

Wow! This is definitely exciting news. I’m sure today’s high class designers also see the practicality in venturing into the stores with a wider range of customers.

I can’t wait to see what there is, but I can’t expect too much. So far, there have been a number of designers who have done budget lines in budget stores, and I have never found anything that I liked. I was looking forward to things like Simply Vera for Kohls and Erickson Beamon for Target, but I didn’t find anything I liked enough to buy. Who knows? Maybe the Jimmy Choo line for H&M will have something I like.
