I just came across this really cool site, My Girlfriend's Closet (http://www.mygirlfriendscloset.com). We've all had experiences where we've raided our friend's closet and this site takes it to kind of a global level. You have the opportunity to sell those pieces from your wardrobe you've been meaning to let go of and restock with fantastic replacements for really cheap. Like any vintage type shop, it takes a couple of minutes of looking for the diamonds in the rough but after a couple of clicks I had found a gorgeous Laundry sweater for only $25 (including shipping!).
There are other opportunities on the site. A Satin Hanger Club Membership gets you a 10% discount on purchases. You have the chance to become a "Local Seller" (where you collect clothes from your friends and neighbors and sell them on the site). You can also chose to donate your items to Dress for Success, an amazing organization that supplies work clothing for underprivelaged women to help them make the transition into the job market.
