My best way to budget shop is to only bring as much as I can spend with me. This ESPECIALLY applies when I go to the mall!!! So many options, so little cash…

Then I immediately run for the clearance racks. It's total tunnel vision. I've gotten so used to shopping at Goodwill and Plato's Closet and the clearance racks that I've gotten totally snobby (I'll pick up a really nice shirt and be like, "Ugh!! Who'd pay $12 for this?!" when it's clearly marked down from $60!). Consignment shops are a really good place to go, too, but you have to start at the clearance rack there, too.
