Clearly, if the event is black tie, the tux is a no-brainer, but most of us are not attending those black tie events these days. Still, at the same time, most of us have to dress up a bit more than usual for New Year's Eve -- so what do you think is the best bet for a guy to be fashionable and appropriate for the occasion?
I think it depends on the place and the guy :)
If you are going to a bar/club I think that a collard shirt and blazer with jeans and nices shoes is nice.
House party- casual is key. Maybe a layered t-shirt and cool zip-up hoodie.
But if your guy is like my boyfriend you won't get him in anything other than a t-shirt and ratty jeans!
Haha! The menfolk and their jeans...well, mine just needs a reason for a kilt. I think personal grooming should be a priority. Incredible scent, surberbly shaved skin, bright smile. A very stylish button down shirt with great jeans in a dark wash. It will cover both clubs and private parties with style. And I agree with the shoes...best they have!
Hopefully... If all works smoothly for New Years my guy will be wearing a Birthday Suit!!! Yipee Happy New Year all you fellow Budget Fashionistas. And a special shout to all my Shoe Shopping Girls!
