Breaking news today (or breaking almost-confirmed rumors): Betsey Johnson is working with SOME retailer on a diffusion line for fall 2009. We vote for Target, though others have thrown H&M;in the ring. Would you shop BJ at Target? What would you like to see in a diffusion line from her (we’d love shoes and handbags, personally, because, as much as we love Betsey’s sensibilities, we just don’t have anyplace to wear a hot pink stretch lace tank top . . .

Betsy Johnson at Target? You bet. I just hope there would be a wide enough variety of items. Some of her designs are really more geared towards younger wearers. I still love her clothes but I can pull off a pink tutu dress at my age. Bags would be great, maybe some tshirts and jackets.

Yes! Yes, yes, yes!  I don’t think I can do hot pink tanks, BUT the younger gals can and probably should.  Ms. Johnson woud lively up my shopping experience at Target.

I’m sure BJ will send Target a swift kick in the pant.  Target has a better range of sizes, so I vote for them.  H&M;is for stick figures (no offense, seriously), but for us Gals who carry a little more around say in the trunk area, we need room (material) to alter.  With a size 8 waist and a 14 hinnie - the extra material is well worth it.  As far as style, Betsey is one of those designers that you either love or just don’t get.  I personally love her.

Betsey at Target would be awesome. However, some Betsey jewelry is so cheap, I hope she wouldn’t lower the quality of her accessories any, they can’t really handle it.
