I’m on the search for a winter coat again.  I’m looking for something that can be dressed up and down and will keep me somewhat warm.  I am tall so I can handle a longer coat.  Any ideas?

Burlington coat factory has a large variety of coats at over 50% off. I would just start there and try several coats on to get the best fit.

Try Filene’s Basement, Loehmann’s, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s… the type of stores that carry last season’s department store coats. Calvin Klein has beautiful winter coats. Also, do not cheap out on this purchase. A winter coat (at least where I live!) is an item of clothing I wear nearly every day for ~4 months. A beautiful, high-quality, well-fitting coat will last for years, keep you warm, and make you feel pulled-together even when you are just popping out to buy a quart of milk.

I like Tj Maxx and Marshalls… however target and old navy also has some very cute, lined wool coats…
