i have the most adorable pair of bright yellow pumps. i really want to wear them with a dress. the problem is i dont know what color dress to get. i thought maybe black and white? i really wanna wear them i just need help!! thanks!

Yellow looks amazing with navy blue. I have this pair of yellow flats that look amazing with a navy blue dress! I also believe that yellow and purple/periwinkle look really good together. I think they're complemetary colors on the colorwheel....

You're right… I'm posting a more detailed answer to this question next week. but consulting a color wheel is a great option when you need guidance regarding colors

Yellow looks great with lots of colors! In addition to the ones already mentioned you can try orange, green, pink & even turqoise. It really depends on how "brave" you want to be.  Going for a more classic look heather gray [pinstripes optional] would look nice too.

When you finally decide what you are getting I would love to see a picture of the final ensemble!!

Definitely dak gray or navy blue...if you want to make it more of a retro style, dark brown is perfect for that.

Apparently, bright yellow is the accessory color du jour so many magazines have been featuring what to wear with yellow pumps. I'm definitely thinking white (optical or off), tan, khaki, olive green, grey, navy blue, perhaps grass green.
