Buy a Breast Cancer Awareness Bracelet for $2 at Payless to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October). And while you’re there, go ahead and shop the BOGO event, buy one get the second pair half off—we love that.

I was looking for some school shoes for my daughter at Payless and found a cute pair of flats that didn’t have a stiff back. Most flats have the hard heel cup like a pump has. I developed bone growths on my heels so I can’t wear certain types of shoes. These were great, I can finally wear flats without pain and a bunch of problems. I was worried they might squish or slide off without that stiff heel cup but they don’t. The ones I found were not the kind with the elastic around the back either so they have a more formal look.

I have not been a huge fan of Payless in recent years because some of the shoes looked obviously cheap or were made in a way that cut up my feet. They seem to have really stepped up the quality even though they are still bargain shoes.
