Does anyone cut their own hair to save a buck?

Cutting your own hair can save you a buck but it can’t save your look. Even though you know what hairstyle you want, it’s really hard to hold and cut your hair - it strains the arms for one reason. I guess if you want to save on haircuts, you can find a hairdresser that you can trust and won’t charge you as high.

I divide my hair into four sections- top, right, left, and back. Then, I pull each section straight out from my head and cut the ends. Finally, I release all the hair and just trim strays around the bottom. I wind up with a shortish, piecey look of soft curls.

I haven’t worn bangs since high school because they’ll just bounce up and leave me with a poof on my forehead.
