Sure, it's geared towards the younger set, but Gossip Girl is making headbands a trend this season (or so I'm told). The thing I like is that, for those of the age and inclincation, you can get the trend super cheap with headbands from Goody (check out their Glamarama and Iconoclass collections) and the look (with pretty colors and fabrics rather than neon plastic) is a step up from the 10-year-old version.

But what do you think? Is this trend a yea or a nay? Do you ever wear headbands?

i ttlly love the head band trend .. it's like 80's retro-style is back full circle but revamped and not cheezy as most

I don't know about the whole headband look. The only time I can ever pull them off is if I am having a bad hair day...Plus it reminds me of the hairstyles I used to sport when I was like 10 years old.
I say no thanks to the headband look.

if it's done right, headbands can be adorable and very chic. However, if they're thrown on haphazardly you'll either look like a messy hobo or so severe you could be a principle in the Moscow ballet.

However, I am LOVING how both Blake and Leighton are wearing them. Blake's gorgeous waves have inspired me to give up my flatiron and embrace my wavy hair and Leighton always looks absolutely adorable and appeals to my preppy nature.

Bottomline--love the headband look!
