As a fan of New York & Co. (which I love for affordable and attractive workwear) I’m not surprised that they’re doing well, but reporting “soaring” second quarter profits? In the current economy, it’s hard to imagine anyone using the word “soaring” in association with “profits”—and especially because every other article in Women’s Wear Daily is about who’s profits are dropping today.
So what is NY & C doing right? Have you shopped there lately?
