I just have to say that I love the motto of this ingenious Web site: Be Fabulous for Less. I live by that. Being that I am a recent college graduate and always on a tight budget, I’ve perfected the art of discount shopping. No matter what store or market you stick me in, I manage to find the only sales, and the great ones, might I add.
I’m an avid shopper of Century 21, TJ Maxx, Old Navy and Target. Of course I also love my Anthropologie, Club Monaco, Kenneth Cole and Urban. I’ll confess, I’m actually addicted to Anthro and its cute little yellow cards. Every time I walk into that store, with its incredible art and innovative store windows, I am captured. I walk directly into the Sale Room and splurge. That’s one store I’ll spend my money in, and not feel one ounce of guilt walking out.
And the great thing about discount shopping, is that you get a workout from rummaging through all of the racks; you probably spend half of what the outfit’s worth; the purchase feels even greater because you still have money to spend; and when your friends ask, “Oh my God, where did you get that?” you can proudly say, “Target!” It’s the best feeling looking fabulous in cheap finds.
So my fashion tip to all of you fellow fashionistas is to wear your clothes; don’t let them wear you. In other words, be confident in anything you wear, no matter the price. I’ve gotten pretty good at it myself.
